Ahhh...Saturday!

I have so much to do today and here I am sitting in front of my 'puter! We finally managed to stop a water leak in our 30 year old trailer. (Plumbing parts are very hard to find for an old trailer!) It was a great and emotional moment when we didn't see water spewing from the pipe!

I am loving my new haircut...I have surprised many people with the new me!

I hope to get my freebie up this afternoon...gotta get those creative juices running! And, I still have a few challenges from Scrapable to complete. I completed most of the challenges at MLAS, except for the first August scraplift.

Have a wonderful day...Blessings! ...Kayre

but, Mom... LO

It's been a rough few weeks and I am very stressed-out. Molly seems to know that I need her love and attention and she has been my constant companion. She knows that my computer desk is not a place for kitty cats but, she insists on being by me! Kitty cat love is great! The desk is messy...compliments of the c a t!

Freebie Coming Soon!

I will soon have a freebie...from a designer's kit at Scrapable!

Fahrmann Family Gathering

My cousin, Donna, has decided that the family needs to get together more often than just at Christmas. It's a wonderful idea...it's great to see everyone (We are a small family!) and enjoy a great meal together. In June, Donna cooked crawfish fettuccine and homemade coconut cake. It was sooooo good! She is planning another event this coming Sunday...I wonder what she will cook???

Wednesday, August 19, 2009

It's a rainy day...thundering all around! I was in the MLAS forum reading about Macro shots (with and without the use of a macro lens) and I remembered the photo I took in my aunt's yard of a dragonfly.

Uninvited Guest

As you can see in my LO, I have an Uninvited Guest of a Argiope Aurantia spider. I decided to make a LO because although I would be very happy for her to visit elsewhere...she has a beautiful web! I used Minicake Design's Thinking of Mariette Kit and Add-on.

Bible Resource Site

I just was sent a link to the best Bible Resource Site...Online Parallel Bible.

My 1st Freebie

I made a LO with Just So Scrappy's Lil Red Kit at My Life and Scraps. I loved my LO so much that I made a QP out of it to share (with Just So Scrappy's permission)!

Survivor Challenge 3

We were required to write a letter to someone that we were missing from home.

My letter to my husband...Dear John,This is not your typical "Dear John" letter! Ha! Ha!

I miss you so very much. How have you and Molly been doing?

Life on the Ginger Scraps Island is quite interesting. I have been teaching the other survivors the fine art of Cajun cooking. We cooked lots of fish on Monday after the Fish Challenge. I found the required 20 fish but, was not quick enough to win the challenge.

We have been having digi-scrapping classes daily...it's been fun learning new techniques.

I look forward to seeing you so much...take care and give Molly a treat for me!

I LOVE YOU!!!
